Actions réalisées grâce à l'argent versée à l'hopital

1. Après-midi de consultations gratuites dans les villages.
2. Acquisition des données relatives aux familles de manière a leur faire des cartes leur offrant l'accès aux soins gratuits à l'hopital.
3. Preparation d'un projet d'assurance permettant aux familles d'avoir la sécurité suffisante pour oser reprendre le travail.
4. Distribution de savon et de dentifrice dans les villages.

Ci-dessous un compte-rendu des opérations effectuées dans les villages alentours:
- We have conducted 21 Free Medical Health camps in the fishermen villages from 28-12-2004 to 03-02-2005 .
- We have treated around 2600 people right now , 2625 people to be exact .
- There are a lot of these people who are coming directly to our Hospital , we are providing Free Treatment and medicines even in our hospital too.
- About 100 people are being Treated daily in our hospital , so we are planning to reduce the frequency of our Health camps to about Two camps Per Week .

We would like to take this opportunity to explain the tsunami relief activities undertaken by us for the past year ,  2005 .

1 )  We had purchased a fully equipped medical van with the help of the French  organization SPF 44 , to provide basic health care to people residing in rural and remote areas .

2 )  92 Free medical camps were conducted in 15 villages for a duration of  12 months .

3 )  Free medical care and free medicines are given to all the people in these  medical camps.

4 )  Free medical cards were issued to each of the fishermen family and the poor  people with the name, addresses and photo of these people so that they can  avail the permanent health service in our hospital .

5 )  Free permanent health services were given to these people who posses our free  medical cards in our hospital for 12 months .

6 )  The free permanent health services include free consultation , free laboratory diagnosis , free treatment and free medicines .

7 )  First Aid, Health Education and Home Nursing Training programs were conducted for 12 months .

8 )  These programs consists of training selected members from the families of  fishermen and other poor people to deal with “ First Aid ” , “ Home Nursing ”  and “ Community and Environmental Health ” . This consists of training 20 women per village from the surrounding 15 villages . These women will be  helpful to diffuse the acquainted knowledge among the people .

 9 )  Children and their education have always been of special importance to us , as we have been helping the economically poor children by providing free uniform clothing , books and financial help for their examination fees .

10 )  We also give moral support to the youngsters of the surrounding villages by  providing them with funds every year for various sports activities like Cricket , Volleyball and Kabadi games .

11 )  After the tsunami disaster , We immediately provided free food , water ,clothes and other basic amenities like soaps, tooth paste, tooth brushes and antiseptic cleaning solutions to all the people affected as they have lost all   their belongings .

12 )  To encourage moral and psychological support to the affected people , We have been providing free counseling .

13 )  These fishermen had lost their fishing boats , So we have provided them with  free fishing boats and fishing nets .

14 )  Since these people have lost their shelter in the disaster , 25 huts and 5 drinking water pumps were built by us for people in the surrounding villages .

15 )  A Kindergarten school is being built by us in the nearby village for the children of the tsunami affected fishermen .
      We were able to provide these free services for the past year with the help of your donations , but the people benefited from these services expect and demand this service to continue .

       We also would like to continue these free services, but for us to accomplish this , we need any kind of financial support from you .
